"Airplane seats are blue.
Have you ever ridden on a commercial airliner? Did you notice that the seats are blue? Well, I've ridden on several different airliners.
Not that much, but over the course of my life, I've been on different airlines.
They're always blue.
And I didn't think about it until I read an article on the internet about airplane seed colors.
Of course, there's a bit of color in them.
A little red or yellow or some line of gray, that's part of the design, but the overall color is blue.
And of course, I also read, although I haven't been on these airlines, some airlines have different colored seats but there are not very many, like two or three is what I could understand anyway.
Why are they blue? Well, blue is the reassuring color.
It's the color that promotes trust.
It's the color that makes us feel calm and that's what you want when people are flying.
In fact, not everybody who gets on an airplane feels comfortable.
There's a lot of people who don't like flying for various reasons.
Some people are afraid of heights.
There's a fear of flying.
My dad didn't like flying because he thought he was getting onto a sealed capsule and there was probably a few sick people sealed in with him and he might get sick from them.
Other people don't like the food.
My son doesn't like the food and he's very sensitive to smells.
So he doesn't really enjoy riding on the airplane.
He likes getting to those places.
So he's happy to ride, but it's not an enjoyable experience for him.
In cases like these, these people will feel better if they're more calm and relaxed and blue is gonna do that.
So if you ride on an airplane in the future, take a look at the color of the seats, it's probably blue."
