The pyramids.
They are deep and powerful and mysterious and they attract visitors from thousands and thousands of kilometers away.
In fact from all around the world.
But what's your image of the pyramids?
Most people think of the great pyramid and the other two beside it in Egypt,
but there's actually pyramids in other parts of the world too.
Especially Central America Mexico has lots of pyramids and in fact one of the biggest pyramids in the world is in Mexico.
Another thing people think about when they think of pyramids is what's the purpose?
We all were taught that the pyramid was actually a resting place or a burial place for a king.
But there was no body found in the great pyramid.
And all the pyramids in Mexico don't have bodies in them
in the sense that it was a tomb or a resting place for dead people.
So pyramids might have another function and they seem to be implanted deep in the minds of man pyramids.
Well, a lot of people speculate that pyramids are a way to concentrate the power of nature.
Maybe the power of bodies out in space like the sun and the moon
and this concentrated power can be used to make us healthy again
or repair things or otherwise bring about positive effects.
These are some of the magical mystical powers that people give to pyramids.
But are they true so far, science hasn't been able to prove that there is any special power about pyramids.
On the other hand, for me, I think that if there was some kind of power it would be special and interesting.
So I kind of like to believe that the pyramids have a power,
even if it can't be shown or proven or tested just because it makes the world a more interesting place.
